In may MGM will release the 1999 Bond adventure "The World Is Not Enough" (TWINE) on DVD. As the Bond DVDs released in october 1999 this DVD also  will be a special edition containing various bonus material. The DVD already can be preordered from several sources in the internet. The release is scheduled for May 16, 2000. 

The same day a box set containing 5 other special edition Bond DVDs will be released. Unlike the last 007 DVD box release the box will not contain the new Bond (TWINE). But it will contain space for that DVD. The DVDs in the box set are "On her Majesty´s Secret Service", "The Man with the Golden Gun", "Dr. No", "Moonraker" und "The Spy who loved Me". This is the second 007 DVD boxset. Whereas "Dr. No", "The Spy who loved Me" and "Moonraker" already previously have been released on DVD the other films will be available on DVD the first time ever. 

Last year it was reported that at the end of 2000 three 7 DVD boxes will be available containing not only the 19 official MGM Bond films but also "Casino Royale" and "Never Say Never Again". Now the May box set containing only 6 (5) DVDs indicates that at least one of these unofficial Bond films will not be released in this collection.

Later this year a third box set containing 7 DVDs (perhaps only 6?) is said to be released. There is no information on releases in other countries.
