As it was expected the latest 007 adventure "The World Is Not Enough" will be released in Germany this year. But this propably won't be the only new 007 Bond DVD in Germany this year. It was reported that starting this year the old Bond film will be released step by step. Up to now in Germany there are only two 007 adventures available on DVD: "Goldeneye" and "Tomorrow Never Dies". It seems the DVDs won't be released in box sets like in the US. It is still unknown what bonus material the DVDs will include but I'm afraid it won't include the same material as the US special editions. The first old 007 films (most likely "Dr. No" and "From Russia With Love") in German Language will possibly already be available in the first half of this year. One German Internet Mail Order Company already offers all old Bond DVDs as Region 2 Disc in German Language but the availability of this disc is declared as "TBA".

DVD-Inside (German Language) lists "Dr. No" and "From Russia With Love" as to be released in June 2000 as Code 2 DVDs. Although the English titles are given I suppose the German language DVDs are meant.
